THE GRUMPERS

Myke and I were thick as thieves for a chunk of high school and really bonded over a mutual love of silly and nonsensical crap, so we would get into all manner of high jinks (including breaking into our high school to steal a fire extinguisher?). Among the other myriad musical nonsense we created were some random little things on the 4-track and we called it “The Grumpers”. No idea how we settled on our ideas but the three songs we recorded were either TV show theme songs or a children’s board game jingle from the 80s. Purely a stream-of-consciousness rumpus room project as nothing about The Grumpers made it past those four walls. Until now, I guess!
